My Full Review of CRM Solutions for Real Estate Industry
Wise Agent was founded by Brandon Wise, who himself was a realtor. His experience in the field helped him create a real estate CRM platform that solves current problems when it comes to managing sales and leads. Knowing the ins and outs of the industry, he knew exactly what a busy real estate agent needs to make their work more efficient and productive.
Wise Agent is an all-in-all real estate CRM system. Real estate professionals can benefit from marketing automation tools, calendar synchronization, lead creation, and more.
One of the CRM software solutions that excelled across all of my criteria was Wise Agent. Not only was it created by a previous realtor, but also offers tools that come in handy doing everyday business.
Why I Like It
Running a real estate business takes a lot of time. Therefore, having all of my appointments, contacts, leads, and marketing details stored in one place makes it easier to fetch the information I need at any moment.
I can integrate and sync many other systems that I use daily and not have to input everything manually.
Having a small team makes Wise Agent an affordable investment for me. In the future, I might consider scaling my business and employing more real estate agents. However, for now, the option of 5 free-of-cost team members sounds great to me.
Since I am not on good terms with the latest technology, Wise Agent helped create some capturing landing pages. The software has an array of templates and makes it easier to customize my offers.
Key Features
- A/B testing
- Lead automation
- Email and SMS texting
- Landing page tool included
- Offers integration with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Facebook, Twitter, ARMLS, and more
My Verdict
Wise Agent has some basic features that other competitors offer for a lower price or for free. However, what sets this CRM system from others is its 24/7 customer support, tons of integration options, and some key features helping me manage my marketing campaigns.
If you have a small team or work by yourself, you can securely store documents and keep up to date with all of your tasks.
Pros
- Free 24/7 customer support
- User-friendly
- Direct integration with Skyslope and Doltloop
- Allow up to 5 team members for free
- Unlimited document storage
Cons
- Doesn’t import leads from an Excel file
- Offers basic features often available by other competitors for free
Zoho CRM is particularly popular among smaller real estate agencies. It’s a good starting point for businesses with just a few members. And if you also use other Zoho tools, CRM can seamlessly integrate with them.
Paying a few bucks a month makes Zoho CRM platform very attractive. It is a flagship CRM solution where you can easily connect with leads, manage them, and follow up with deals. What’s more appealing is that you can opt for forever-free CRM software supported by Zoho.
The free edition has limited features but supports three users. On the other hand, a Standard subscription supports one user but offers an array of features that include but are not limited to schedule reports, sales forecasting, KPIs, and substantial file and data storage.
Why I Like It
What I liked the most about Zoho was its customization options. You can tailor the dashboard to your needs and focus on those every time you open the software. With a Standard subscription, you can see the sales process, forecast, and manage your marketing campaigns.
If you often travel, Zoho has a mobile app. I found it pretty easy to use. I could access things like notes, my clients’ contact details, and deals. I also had an option to call my leads directly from the app, so I didn’t have to copy and paste each and every number.
Key Features
- Sales automation
- Marketing automation
- Lead generation
- Real-time notification when a lead contacts you
- Zia, a personal virtual assistant that helps manage tasks (available only on top tiers)
- Can be integrated with other Zoho tools, Office 365, Google Suite, and more
My Verdict
Commercial real estate agents would find Zoho as helpful as I did. It has everything an agent needs to run a business successfully. Overall, Zoho CRM is a real estate CRM built to simplify management processes and free up time to focus on closing deals. As you scale your business, you will recognize the need to upgrade your package, which offers even more features to manage leads, generate reports, and automate tasks.
Pros
- Supports 28 languages
- Intuitive and easy to use software
- Free Zoho CRM edition for 3 users
- Highly customizable
- Third-party integrations available
Cons
- The price for each subscription is for one user only
Real Geeks is another all-in-one CRM solution. This one is especially useful for agents who want to generate more leads while addressing other aspects of their business. One thing that should be noted before I jump to reviewing the platform is that your pricing may be different from mine. Therefore, you should contact the CRM provider directly for accurate pricing.
Real Geeks offers a CRM tool that can drastically help with finding and contacting new leads. Although the software will not let you stay idle, you will spend less time on lead generation.
The software provider offers many integration options but also informs you and your fellow agents ASAP about new leads that enter the system. If you like a proactive approach, Real Geeks can enhance your efficiency.
Why I Like It
The CRM software provider has some interesting features I was curious to try out. One of them was the tool to create IDX websites without the need to code anything. After testing it, I created a few listings and landing pages and could also assign them to my agents.
If you work alone, the next feature could interest you in the future, but if you have a team, you can monitor every member’s performance.
Key Features
- Real-time activity
- Email and SMS notifications
- Provides leads’ social profiles to engage with them directly
- Offers lead generation tools (e.g., Facebook marketing tool)
- Can be integrated with Google Sheets, Mailchimp, kvCore, Thanks.io, and more
My Verdict
Real Geeks CRM is a great software for generating new leads and closing deals faster with the tools available. They have recently launched a new tool – GeekAI – which seems to reduce the workload drastically. Other than that, the provider supports numerous integrations to receive more data on the platform and filters to monitor the locations you work in.
Pros
- Set automated SMS response
- Send text and videos to your leads
- GeekAI that answers to leads 24/7 and writes scripts (extra cost for $200)
- Create IDX websites
Cons
- Price is disclosed during the consultation with Real Geeks
Similarly to Real Geeks, one of the main focuses of Market Leader is real estate leads. The tools you get access to guarantee a number of potential leads generated every month rather than a number of impressions on your listings.
Market Leader is a great integration platform for real estate agents and clients. Whenever you post a listing, the leads in your system will be notified. The same goes for clients’ interaction with you. Apart from that, the CRM can ease your workload by automating many tasks.
Why I Like It
Real estate businesses never sleep, and if you’re a busy agent that needs to free up some time in the calendar, Market Leader CRM will do that for you.
Automation in the real estate industry seems to be a must nowadays. I can’t imagine manually inputting some data rather than updating my list with a few clicks.
After testing it, I realized that Market Leader may be more suitable for larger agencies than mine. It does offer lots of benefits but some of them I found excessive for my business in particular. So when you will be choosing a CRM service for your needs, take into consideration whether you are going to use every feature it offers — otherwise, it may be a waste of money for you.
Key Features
- Automated text messages
- Client management
- Multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Real-time lead activity monitoring
- Can be integrated with more than 40 lead sources
My Verdict
Market Leader CRM system is very versatile. You can choose to use it as a CRM only or opt for packages like Market Leader Pro, Business Suite, or Pro for Teams that have CRM solutions included.
The CRM provider also has a mobile app that stores your calendar, lead contacts, and more. You can get notifications and react to them almost immediately. And let’s agree – real estate agents never get off their phones; it’s an irreplaceable tool. So having CRM software in your palm is a great benefit.
Pros
- Mobile app available
- Set reminders
- Set marketing automation
- Integrate your website
Cons
- You have to contact the vendor to learn the price
- No free trial
LionDesk is a CRM platform that offers essential features for any real estate agent out there. The software is purposely built to assist agents in finding leads, reaching out to them, and closing deals.
The platform won’t take long for you to understand how to use it. It features options that let you contact leads efficiently. There is emailing, texting, calling, and more. If you struggle with building meaningful relationships with your clients, LionDesk will ease the process of following-up on deals and other tasks.
Why I Like It
The best feature that LionDesk offers is keeping track of your leads. This includes all the engagements made with clients.
I tested auto-drip email marketing, which lets me customize my emails and set a date when my clients should receive the offer or an update from me.
I could also switch to texting campaigns at any moment and monitor how well my campaign ran.
Key Features
- Bulk texting
- Pre-build marketing campaigns
- Sales pipeline
- Custom landing pages (only for CRM Premier)
- AI lead follow-up system
- Can be integrated with Zillow, Realtor.com, Ylopo, and more
My Verdict
The basic package has everything any agent needs to run their agency successfully. However, LionDesk offers particularly useful add-ons that make the overall expense quite pricey.
Pros
- Easy to use
- Features AI-powered follow-up system
- Bulk email texting
- Visualization tools included
Cons
- Add-ons make the offer less affordable
Realvolve charges anything between about $100 to a shocking $2,000 per month. However, I will only look into the Basic package as I deem it the most affordable for real estate agents looking for cheap but good options.
- Pricing: $94/month for the basic package; $99/month for Accelerate + sign-up fee
- Free trial: 14 days
- Best for: Customer relationship management and workflow systems in one place
Despite the price, I decided to include Realvolve because the company offers both CRM and workflow systems. This is especially useful for agents reaching out to a big pool of leads and needing to stay on top of everything.
Why I Like It
Realvolve did everything for me: synchronized my leads, sorted out my calendar, highlighted the deadlines, forecasted revenue, and more.
Honestly, this is quite an impressive platform. I could allocate team members to be in charge of tasks and share limited information with my colleagues.
Key Features
- Workflow library
- 4D automation engine for workflows
- Mobile app
- Revenue prediction
My Verdict
At first, Realvolve software was overwhelming, it just had too many features for me to handle. However, soon enough, you get used to the dashboard and handle the amount of information it gives.
If you need tools that manage your leads but also help you keep track of your tasks, then you should give Realvolve a shot. Otherwise, consider other solution providers that focus solely on CRM.
Pros
- Keep a collection of files per person
- Add annotation and attachments via email
- Automate repeated processes
- Prioritize tasks
- Calculate net commissions on each deal
Cons
- Expensive subscription
HubSpot doesn’t have a dedicated CRM platform, but offers a one-in-all solution to help real estate agents to generate more sales and leads.
HubSpot offers a free plan that a solo real estate agency will greatly benefit from. It offers five templates, 15 minutes of calling, one booking page, and other features you can use each month.
Why I Like It
I tried the Starter pack, which has everything a free CRM offers but in a bigger quantity. HubSpot doesn’t offer a dedicated CRM platform, but it comes with sales software. So, it is actually a 2-in-1 subscription plan helping you automate your sales but also manage and track lead generation and more.
Key Features
- Prospect tool
- Live messaging
- Email automation
- Can be integrated with more than 500 apps, including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Gmail, Outlook, and others
My Verdict
Real estate CRM offered by HubSpot comes either as a free or paid plan. Both have basic features, but a paid plan diverts the main focus to sales process automation and tracking. If you want to manage leads but also keep track of expenses and revenues, go ahead and try HubSpot for 14 days for free.
Pros
- In-depth reporting
- Email and call tracking tools
- Sales automation
- AI-powered insights
Cons
- May be pricey for small businesses
Best CRM Software for Real Estate Business
Real estate agents use tools to help them keep track of leads and effectively communicate with them. Following-up on the latest conversations or updates is another important task that has to be done to support meaningful relationships.
Small real estate teams aren’t capable of doing everything manually. Therefore, they delegate some repetitive tasks to CRM platforms.
To conclude my review, I have prioritized three CRM platforms for real estate businesses. They are:
- Wise Agent,
- Zoho CRM,
- Real Geeks.
However, the final choice is yours. I hope my review helped you make up your mind and also take some extra work off your shoulders.
