What Does Lasso CRM Do?
Lasso customer relationship management (CRM) software is a cloud-based solution that’s been around for over two decades. It’s a platform that helps real estate developers and agents capture leads and conduct seamless follow-ups and engagements.
While testing this platform, I noted that it’s suitable for
- single-family homes
- suburban townhomes
- high-rise condominiums
- master-planned complexes
- destination resorts
Lasso boasts rapid deployment and ease of use to maximize the customer’s ROI.
What Are the Key Features of Lasso CRM?
The top features I experimented with on Lasso included:
- Property Alerts
- Lead Management
- Contact Management
- Campaign Management
- Interaction Tracking
- Intuitive Dashboard
- Email Marketing
- Segmentation
- Client and Property Matching
- Referral Tracking
While each of these features is robust and extensive, three notable ones stood out: lead management, email marketing, and sales automation. With these, I could effortlessly capture prospect leads and export them from other sources like social media, website forms, and contact cards.
Lead Management
Every business keen on revenue growth will use a CRM that offers lead management capabilities. Lasso developers understood this so well that they designed the most reliable lead management feature you could find.
For home builders, capturing and managing leads from multiple sources (iPads, online registration forms, model home kiosks, etc.) is almost effortless, thanks to Lasso’s exclusive Lead Intelligence software. With this feature, doing follow-ups and nurturing prospects down the sales funnel is pretty straightforward.
The lead intelligence software provided me with valuable insights into different prospective buyers. I was able to tailor and personalize follow-ups, which made communication easier.
I ranked each prospect into different segments to identify which ones were likely to convert and which were stuck in indecision. I then focused on those prospective converts while forecasting sales, tracking, and adjusting changes accordingly.
Automated Sales Process
Lasso’s effective marketing and sales automation comes with a wide selection of analytical capabilities. Examples include an intuitive campaign dashboard, contact history, contact scheduler, reliable email marketing, handy mailing list management, contract management, custom database, and product catalog.
The sales forecasting and sales reports modules came in handy to track and analyze campaign performance. When I wanted to export and import data in various formats, I realized the process was more efficient with an advanced user interface, customized to my liking. For customer support, the platform offers customer service integration, call center management, and tracking.
Email Marketing
Lasso is one of the most effective CRMs out there because of the all-in-one email marketing solution. It proves that the platform aims to make every user’s sales and marketing effort as efficient and profitable as possible.
This feature made creating engaging email marketing campaigns more cost-effective, especially since I was working with a minimal budget. I managed to create newsletters and templates at no additional costs.
Through segmentation, it was easier to send the right message to the right people at the right time and receive timely feedback. After viewing and analyzing reports from the campaign stats, the next step was to monitor each report, then filter accordingly, and focus on conversion.
What is Lasso’s Pricing Like?
So far, the platform offers only one basic pricing subscription that starts at $495 per license. It has no free version, nor does it offer a free trial. Although you can request a demo before going pro, the lack of a free trial and free version can be discouraging for users. They give you up to 14 days to cancel your subscription should you decide to opt out.
Is Lasso Easy to Use?
Having worked with various similar and even more advanced CRM solutions, I can categorically say Lasso’s usability is relatively simple. The functionalities automate nearly every process from start to finish, allowing me to conduct an overview of the whole process.
However, some, especially new users, may find it cumbersome to use without prior orientation. New users may need to watch support videos and review some learning material to understand how to utilize the software. Fortunately, these learning materials are readily available on the platform.
Additionally, I used Excel spreadsheets, PDFs, and CSV to import and export data on the platform. Since these are the only available formats, some users may find it limiting. This is an area that needs improvement.
What Apps Does Lasso Integrate With?
Lasso can be integrated with various pre-built solutions such as direct connections with AtlasRTX, SAPPHIRE Build, MarkSystems, and LotVue. Through its Lasso API and Lasso Pro API features, I was able to connect the CRM with CallRail, Facebook Lead Ads, LiveChat, Unbounce, and similar Zapier Apps.
Which Companies Work With Lasso?
Here are some top companies that employ Lasso CRM in their home building and sales operations.
- Deacon, Inc
- Fischer Homes
- Dunhill Homes
- Jennifer Benton Homes

Last Thoughts
Lasso is one of the most efficient CRM solutions for the real estate sector because it was developed with realtors in mind. I loved their email marketing functionality, which keeps track of open rates and performs website tracking.
However, Lasso is designed to assist bigger companies, hence the high subscription cost. If you’re a small real estate startup with 10 employees or less, Lasso CRM may not be for you. However if you’re a large enterprise seeking to advance your lead targeting, lead nurturing, and overall revenue growth within a short time, I recommend you adopt Lasso.
